syn Oxypetalum caerulea – The rare and beautiful white flowered form of milkweed, a small growing shrubby perennial that flowers during summer and into autumn. Requires a situation in full sun with well drained soil. Wonderful for picking and mixing in floral posies and is said to be an alternative food source for the monarch butterflies.
