Freight Charges

Please note:
Deliveries to RURAL addresses will have an extra $7 freight charge (except for seeds being sent via NZ Post Untracked)


1 – 6 plants, Nationwide Tracked Courier – METRO $14.00
7 – 20 plants, South Island Tracked Courier – METRO $25.00
7 – 12 plants, North Island Tracked Courier – METRO $25.00
13 – 20 plants, North Island Tracked Courier – METRO $37.00
1 – 20 plants, Nelson Region – METRO $10.00

  • Should you require a larger quantity of plants, please make contact for an applicable rate
  • Plants are generally grown in 9cm containers
  • Plants are dispatched on a Monday or Tuesday
  • Please note if you are paying freight on plant purchases and wish to include seeds or bulbs there is no extra freight charge

Delivery info

Our chosen couriers are Aramex Couriers and Courier Post who offer a fully tracked service

Our freight charges are applied on your location and should your address be RURAL the delivery charge is an additional $7.00

You may prefer to have your order delivered to a non rural address so plants have less time in transit and negate having to pay the rural fee.

Some small towns are deemed as rural by different couriers so if in doubt please make contact as we cannot send if the incorrect option has been selected. We will email you and advise if the incorrect freight charge has been chosen.

The freight is calculated on weight and volume and it is more economical freight wise if you fill the carton.

Plant orders are only dispatched on Monday and Tuesday to try and avoid a hold up in a courier depot over the weekend

Our parcels are sent with “Authority to Leave” this means if you’re not home at the time of delivery the courier leaves your parcel in a safe place on your property.

Most deliveries are a two – three day service with the exception of rural deliveries which may add up to another day or two to the delivery time frames. Please note with COVID-19 and extreme weather conditions this may cause the odd delays with freight and these delays can be viewed on the Aramex Couriers website.

If you are requiring more than 15 plants, please get in touch for availability and a quote on how much the freight will be to your address.

Aramex Couriers deem some small towns to be rural this is unfortunately outside our control.

Where this occurs we will need to get in touch to get you to deposit the additional rural fee into our account

Due to the nature of our products, we do not offer refunds or returns.
