OXALIS VERSICOLOR

A striking species of collectable Oxalis with candy striped buds that look like peppermint sticks, The buds have a red margin on the reverse of the petals, and the flowers when fully open are pure white. This species flowers for months on end thru autumn and winter. Suited to growing in a container with a free draining mix. These bulbs have a dormant resting period during summer. Pots of these collectable Oxalis species are a sight to behold close to the house on a sunny day during the cooler months. Almost every colour in the rainbow, they give a free flowering display when there is little other colour about in autumn and winter, Bring them on to a sunny deck when in flower and let them dry off during summer when the bulbs take a rest, Requires a free draining mix.
