OXALIS MELANOSTRICTA “KEN ASLET”

This collectable oxalis species, formally known as Oxalis purpurea Ken Aslet has beautiful downy grey/green trifoliate leaves which are an attraction on their own. Watering of this species should commence in January as it likes to come into leaf early, which gives the best flowering. Bright yellow flowers make a great show in the autumn.
Give a free draining gritty mix and a dormant resting period thru summer.. There is several bulbs in each container, coming into seasonal growth and flower
