MORAEA LUCKY DIP

The beautiful Peacock Iris – A special South African bulbous plant coming into growth in autumn, with its grass like foliage and flowering in spring from naturally small bulbs,  with their stunning three petalled iris like flowers with a distinct peacock eye on 30 – 40cm stems. They require a well drained sunny situation or are great for growing in a container so the small bulbs do not get lost. The bulbs need to be kept dry during their summer dormancy  The bulbs have been taken from a mixed clump of Moraea villosa and Moraea aristata so either species could be included in the mix hence the term ‘Lucky Dip”. These plants are just coming into seasonal growth.
