MICRANTHUS JUNCEUS

A very special and rarely offered bulbous plant from South Africa, a member of the Iridaceae family. A late spring early summer flowering bulb, that can take a little more moisture than most, coming from marshy areas. The plant produces slender rush like foliage followed by stems to 40cms tall, of beautiful violet blue flowers in late spring that are loved by bees and butterflies.
