IPHEION SELLOWIANA

From Uruguay this brightly coloured small growing bulbous plant produces masses of golden yellow cup shaped flowers over a long period in late winter and early spring. Tufted foliage appears in autumn followed by the sunny yellow flowers. A great bulb for a pot although it does equally well in the garden in a well-drained sunny situation.
