HIBISCUS RICHARDSONII

Native Hibiscus – This plant is on the national critical list of threatened plants of New Zealand, being lost through browsing cattle and over crowding by taller growing weed species. A delightful annual or tender perennial growing to around 50cms tall. Cream flowers appear all summer long, followed by inflated seed pods that are an attraction on their own. Sunny situation in free draining soil sees it perform well in my garden
