FREESIA BURTONII
The beautiful cream flowered Freesia, founded in Nelson here in the 1930’s by Mrs. Burton, and sought after for its pickable, fragrant creamy white flowers with yellow markings. It is a vigorous grower and free flowering. Requires a sunny well drained situation. The bulbs of this species are smaller than the hybrid freesia types.
