DRIMIOPSIS MACULATA

Syn: Scilla maculata – African Hosta – A choice little bulbous plant, a relative of the Scilla family, found growing in woodland situations on the forest floor in its native habitat of South Africa. Beautiful green leaves spotted maroon. Keep moist and in a shaded or semi shaded situation. White and green Muscari like flowers appear in summer but I grow this delightful plant simply for its lovely speckled foliage. These plants are just coming into seasonal growth growing in a 9cm container
