CHASMANTHE FLORABUNA DUCKITTII

A South African bulbous plant, a member of the Iridaceae family, making sword-shaped leaves and spikes of beautiful canary yellow, long-tubed flowers during winter to early spring. These bulbs flower when there is little else around, long lasting either in the garden or picked for a vase, and adored by the silvereyes for their nectar. Grows to around 1 metre plus tall and requires a free draining situation in sun or semi shade
