CENTAUREA CHELIANTHIFOLIA

This lovely perennial is commonly known as  perennial cornflower  and is a clump-forming plant  native to  Turkey, Iran, and the Caucasus.  White notched flowers on 30 – 50 cm stems  and woolly grey green foliage. The plant is dormant in winter and the flowers appear in late spring an summer enjoying a situation in full sun. These plants are just coming into seasonal growth  and are growing in   9cm containers
