ACTIUM LAPPA

Great Burdock – A biennial tap root vegetable making   large broad green leaves that are  paler underneath. Both foliage and roots are edible. The plant also has medicinal properties that can be found in detail on the web. The plant grows to around 1m or so tall and produces unusual thistle like flower heads.
